The summer season of Monaco starts early with the Rolex Masters tennis tournament in April, followed by the art festival at Forum Grimaldi and of course the Formula 1 Grand Prix.
In 1974 the SBM added a concert series to the glamorous summer schedule by bringing international music acts to the principality.
Since its creation, the Monte-Carlo Sporting Summer Festival has earned the reputation of bringing the biggest stars to its stage. Backed by more than 150 years of Monte-Carlo magic, the festival and its exceptional programming continue to put Monaco, the Salle des Etoiles, and the Opéra Garnier Monte-Carlo, at the top of the summer calendar.
The program varies every year and has gained popularity not only because the venues in Monaco are rather small compared to internationals music arenas,- resulting in an extraordinary initmate and exclusive experience for both entertainer and audience.
Sometimes preluded by a dinner, the concert guests arrives in chic attire and stars enjoy a warm welcome in style and elegance. Firework displays at the end of the concerts round up unforgettable musical memories
